2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu dropped big words about Carlos Alcaraz as she says it’s incredible what the Spaniard is doing. Both Raducanu and Alcaraz are considered as one of the most promising and talented players on the ATP and WTA Tours.

Raducanu, 19, became a Grand Slam champion in a stunning style as she became the first qualifier ever to win a Grand Slam. Raducanu is now on the verge of breaking into the top-10 as she is enjoying a career-high ranking of No .

11 in the world. On the other side, 18-year-old Alcaraz is already a Masters champion and a top-10 player. Both Raducanu and Alcaraz have been tipped to win multiple Grand Slams and reach the world No. 1 ranking in the future.

Raducanu says Alcaraz is a stunning talent but also a great guy off the court.

Raducanu: Alcaraz an impressive talent and a great guy

“I think what he is doing is incredible,” Raducanu told Eurosport, as quoted on Tennishead.

“But it is even more impressive how genuine and kind he is off the court. “It is incredible how he is able to practically take the racket out of his opponent’s hand, it is definitely very exciting”.

Unlike Raducanu, Alcaraz doesn’t have a Grand Slam title yet. However, that could change in a month from now as many believe Alcaraz is a legitimate contender for the French Open title. During the Sunshine Double, Alcaraz impressed as he won Miami and also reached the semifinal in Indian Wells.

Last year, Alcaraz made it past the French Open qualifying and reached the third round at the tournament before losing to Jan-Lennard Struff. 12 months later, Alcaraz has improved a lot and some think he could emulate Rafael Nadal and win a Grand Slam as a teenager.

Meanwhile, Raducau is set to make her French Open debut. Raducanu played her first WTA clay event in Stuttgart two weeks ago. Raducanu enjoyed a solid Stuttgart campaign as she reached the quarterfinal, before losing to world No. 1 Iga Swiatek. It will be interesting to see how will Raducanu and Alcaraz play at the French Open.
