The atmosphere was that of a great party, of friendship, of emotions in memory of the late Billy Cairns.

The event was greeted online by Ian Poulter and YouTube star English golfer Rick Shiels. The Americans got off to a great start, leaving Team Europe at zero points after the first day. The Europeans tried to catch up, but to no avail.

This was the first edition of an event that I’m sure will continue to grow, as you can guess from the prestigious sponsors who support the initiative. At the moment the Cup will be flying overseas, where Team Europe will try to bring it home in two years.
