For his return to competition this week in Los Angeles, in what will be his first tournament of 2024, Tiger Woods has enlisted the services of a very experienced caddy. The former world number 1’s long-time friend, Rob McNamara, who was on Tiger Woods’ bag at the Hero World Challenge in December, will give up his place.

But the Tiger did not accept the offer of his compatriot and friend Fred Couples who had declared that he was ready to caddy Woods at the Riviera Country Club if he asked him to do so. Indeed, according to different sources, Tiger Woods will appear at the start of the Genesis Invitational this week with Lance Bennett at his side.
