Nottingham Forest started the second half with a great appetite for goals. Avoni, who caught a good pass from Freyler in the first minutes, shot into Chelsea’s goal and Kepa kept his team’s goal closed with a good reaction.

Nottingham Forest looked dangerous again in the 49th minute. Johnson could have put Avoni in a great position, but he selfishly shot and was again saved by Kepa.

Foresters, who were in control of the game in the second half, shook Chelsea’s goal in the 54th Tumbet minute.

Gibbs-White got a good pass from Yeats and his shot was too strong for Kepa to react. However, the ball hit under the horizontal post of the goal and Chelsea’s goal could not be opened.

Nottingham Forest finally paid for their attack in the second half and evened the score in the 63rd minute. Gibbs-White scores a left corner into Chelsea’s goal. Jungle defender Willy Boley hit the ball overhead with a header right in front of Serge Aurier’s feet to open Kepa’s goal with a nice half-volley.

Chelsea recovered in the last minutes, but Potter’s students created the only chance for Forest’s goal.

In the 72nd minute, replacing Jorginho, Hakim Ziyash sent a good cross to Aubameyang on the second post, but Uriah’s pressure caused Chelsea to take the opportunity and not score a well-deserved header.
